GROM PILOT

Test Rules

The essential rules for buyers and sellers — no hidden small print and no pretending that this test is already a store.

Effective from 31 August 2026.
Pilot project operated byKonrad Włodarczyk konrad-wlodarczyk@outlook.com

1. What GROM is

GROM is a managed pilot in which buyers declare interest in one exactly identified product at a stated price and admitted retailers may quote for the group. The active test currently covers UK delivery, GBP, and power tools, hand tools and workshop equipment. The service is not a store, seller, payment system or party to a sales contract.

2. Who may take part

The test is open to people aged 18 or over and to businesses. Provide accurate information and join a pool only if you are genuinely considering a purchase on the stated terms. False declarations undermine the test result.

3. Buyer declaration

  • Joining a pool is currently free and does not start a subscription.
  • A new request increases the public pool total only after the email address is confirmed through a single-use link valid for 24 hours.
  • A declaration of interest is not an order, a legal offer or an obligation to buy.
  • The target price and pool threshold signal demand; they do not guarantee a discount, availability or delivery.
  • A participant confirms genuine intent to decide within 48 hours if a verified quote meets their price ceiling. This still does not create an order or obligation to buy.
  • A community request is not a live campaign. A threshold is shown as a retailer minimum only after genuine retailer interest has been confirmed.
  • If a genuine offer appears, each buyer decides independently whether to accept it.

4. Seller offer

The seller is responsible for the accuracy of the price, availability, description, taxes, lawful sale, delivery, warranty, returns and customer service. GROM may verify an offer, request documents or explanations, and reject an offer that cannot be credibly confirmed.

5. If a purchase takes place

During the pilot, GROM does not receive or hold money. The named seller handles the purchase, payment, delivery, invoice, complaints, warranty and returns under the terms shown before purchase. The sales contract is between the buyer and seller. These rules do not limit statutory consumer rights.

6. Links, prices and service availability

Links lead to third-party retailers. GROM may match links from different retailers only when identifiers point to the same product and variant. Groups are always separated by delivery country and currency; Polish prices or delivery are not mixed with the UK market. Prices, descriptions and availability may change independently of GROM. We do not promise that every request will be approved, reach a minimum or receive a quote.

7. Safety and fair use

Spam, automated falsification of demand, impersonation, attempts to bypass safeguards, and unlawful products or offers are prohibited. GROM may remove such submissions, block abuse and close pools.

8. Data and contact

Our data handling is explained in the Privacy Policy. Send questions, requests to withdraw, or problem reports to konrad-wlodarczyk@outlook.com. Material changes to these rules will be marked with a new date on this page.
